Missing LEVELS tool

The curves tool does NOT have all the adjustments in the Levels tool. (See Output levels sliders) This is why ALL other editors include a Levels module.

  Of course Curves do not have a Level's slider. They are Curves and do not need them. There is nothing you can do with Levels the you cannot do with Curves. Need to adjust the Black/White points? Move the end points in. Want it darker or brighter in the midtones, pull down or up on the middle of the Curve. Don't want it affecting a certain portion of the tonal range, put a pin on it at that point.

  Curves are a very powerful tool once you learn how to use them.
