New Camera

Just bought a new Lumix g9II. Camera is introduced but not available until November. How long does it usually take On1 to support a new body?  What happens if you try to develop an image without specific support?

  How long it takes for a new camera to be supported is an unknown. Photo RAW uses 2 different libraries for processing RAW images. There are cameras and file formats that Photo RAW supports natively. ON1 calls these cameras Tier 1. Everything else goes through an open source library called LibRAW. Those cameras are called Tier 2 in the documentation. Until one or the other of those libraries has been updated to recognize the new camera and its RAW format photos from it cannot be edited.
