Fine tuning white balance sliders (and others)

This sounds like a problem with your mouse to me. I can easily move those sliders one point at a time. Maybe your mouse settings are moving your pointer too far.

In the meantime, you can just enter the value itself without trying to scroll at all.

Optionally, you can ignore Develop and use Effects filters to do the same. You have the option there to reduce the opacity of each filter. If you set that to 50%, it makes each slider twice as accurate.

No, it's not the mouse, but those are decent workarounds.  Thanks

Using scroll wheel by selecting in the numeric area, changes value by 10°K - on the temp. bar itself, step is 112-113°K (alternating between both). It seems to be independant of the  scroll wheel settings in Windows.

Try making the right side panel with the siders wider so you have move room to move them. Longer slides means more sensitivity in smaller moves.

    Thanks Brian.
yes steps are around 38°K on slider when right pane is at its maximum extension ( around 2/5 of screen width) : it can be useful to extend window app on a second monitor and leave the properties palette opened permanently too (for brushes...) to keep edited image large.
