    I would just scan the page, make duplicate layers and then crop and retouch as needed.

    Thanks, I tried the two layers but the crop was the same on each.  Did stumble across something that will work though.  Crop/Level photo one, export, rinse and repeat.  Then bring the exported photo back into edit.

    Thanks for the input, haven't had to do something like this since I switched from PS.

    Depending upon the scanning software, you might be able to define the individual images on the page so they each get saved into their own file.

    Another option is to photograph them and skip the scanner altogether.

    Turns out the artifacts from the scanner were like looking through a screen door.  Your idea of just shooting them may make the most sense.
