You'll have to ask tech support about this.

If you have lots of pictures in your catalog, it seems the browse module hangs. In the squished picture above you see somthing like "No reponse" in the headline. I experiance the same on my Windows system. It takes up to 5 minutes until the browser is reacting again, when it is able to react at all. Often the browser has crashed in background. You can see it in the details pain of the task manager under on1 RAW 2024. I discribed my issues to the support already.

Jens, Good to know that it's not just me. And yes I do have a very large catalog. Thanks for reporting to tech support. I wonder if splitting it into smaller catalogs would help. Have you tried that yet? When I have time I may experiment with that.

I didn't try to separate/split the catalog. I performed another trail by deleting all 2024 stuff and restart everything from scratch, ensuring, that keyword AI is switched off. So this time at least the catalog was finished. I restarted the computer, after switching of the program (File/quit) which took some time to finish. After restart I of On1 2024 I experianced some improvements comparing the former trails. However the shown fast reaction of the browser in On1s videos is by far not reached. Also onphoto,DNG and Tiff containt in my catalog show up mostly, which was not the case before the restart.(after the catalog was finished). However some pictures independent of their type are not shown in browse. Getting those to the edit module helps to bring them up in browse as well.  My albums were disturbed (maybe my fault during the delete actions), but that is not a big deal, as I put markers to each pictures sidecar file, in order to be able to recreate the album in case of issues.

Hope my discription helps any one out there.

You're not going to see the same performance on your Windows machine as they are demoing on their latest state-of-the-art Apple Silicon systems. It's a law of nature. 😁
