You need to change the Match setting to All of the following rules. Match any is an OR condition. Photos that match either condition will be displayed. Match All is an AND condition. All the rules must apply to each photo for it to be selected.

You say you're looking for City OR Gps empty, but are looking for results where City AND Gps is empty.

    You need to change this...

    To ALL.

The way you have it set, if it finds one OR the other, but it appears that you want to find results where BOTH are empty.

This question is not answered. Please reread my description and look closely at the image I included.

The search criteria should only return ONLY where either the City or GPS field Is Empty but the selected image (first mountain in the first row) has metadata in BOTH fields.

I probably should have simplified it and used a screenshot of the results for just one search criterion. In the screenshot below, I am searching for files where the GPS field is Empty but the selected image (first mountain in the first row) has metadata in the GPS field.

Additionally, if I flip the criteria to Is Not Empty, the results do not change at all. The image of stripes has no GPS data and therefore should not be included in the Is Not Empty results.

Furthermore, I have tested this on several of the other Location fields for Empty vs Is Not Empty and still no joy.

Ok, I tried this and I'm not seeing correct results either. You should report this to ON1 support.

FYI, I received this response from Support:

"This is a bug we're aware of and are working to resolve on our end.  I've linked your ticket to it.
We don't have an exact time frame for the fix just yet, but we're working on it. "

Thanks Jay, but please don't use the Blockquote formatting. It isn't visible here. 🙁

For everyone else, it says it is a known issue with no time frame for getting fixed.
