Empty folder not removable

ON1 probably can't remove it BECAUSE it's not visible outside of ON1. Either it doesn't exist or there may be a problem. Can you run a test on the drive? If you're using windows just right click on the drive in Explorer and select properties. You'll find some tools there. In case it is an ON1 problem, you can try Delete settings to see if that helps.

I suggest you run Disk First Aid and check your drive's directory structure and file info for damage and let it repair any it may find.

You should have done Delete settings, why did you do a reset? Now you need to wait for your catalogs to rebuild.

Nothing was changed on your HDD. If there were folders before, they are still there. It's the catalog in Photo Raw that needs to rebuild.

Sometimes you try thinks ,… In the end my catalogue is up to date now.
But I still see 4 folders in browse empty. These very empty folders are also seen in the catalogued structure empty .When checking HDD , these folders are not seen there.for the rest ON1 runs fine and satisfied with it

Do you still have your 2023 user data in place? If so, the database corruption could be coming from there when it gets migrated after the Reset operation.

If that is the case you will want to quit all copies of Photo RAW then move the NDServices folder out of your 2023 user data and onto your Desktop for safe keeping. Relaunch 2024 with the Shift key pressed and do the Reset once again. This will force the program to build a brand new database without any migration from older versions. You will have to recreate everything yourself.

Bryan , here are some screenshots :  HD application level , system library level and user library level.

Please could you suggest what to do?

First off I would trash every folder with a year easier than 2023 unless you are still using 2021 and 2022, etc. That is going to free up a WHOLE BUNCH of disk space for you.

The NDServices folder is inside the ON1 Photo RAW 2023 folder. All you had to do was look.

BTW, just to be doubly clear I am talking about only your user data folder. DO NOT touch any System folders.

I don’t use older version anymore.
So I can safely remove all < 2023 folders in the :
    - system application folder
    -system library
    -user library
or just in the user library selection?

Yes, you can remove the older stuff from all those locations.

    so also ON effects ,  ON nonoise , ... from 2021,2022 ?

Yes, of course. All of the data from versions of ANY programs you no longer use, not just ON1 programs, are just taking up space that could be put to better use.
