Crashing after Explorer Context Menu "Open With"

Sign me in as "disappointed".

Select a 484 x 594 PNG image in Win7 Pro / Explorer.
R-click for Open With...
Resize 2018 just hangs and "not responding"

i7 processor, 32gb, SSD, nothing else running.

I'm surprised Resize is not a real plug-in, just a spawned EXE from the Photoshop File | Automate menu.

  Bruce. Not really understanding your post. If you're using On1 resize then you should have sent in a tech support request by now. If you're talking about photoshop, then you're in the wrong forum. You don't provide enough info to work with.
