Hi Gerry, I think it has just started.

    Hi, Mark

I really hope it takes off. Photo.net is brilliant, but a dedicated ON1 forum would be awesome.

I'll point folks in this direction, when I see suitable posts in the Facebook Photo Community.

It may take a little while before people start using this forum but I think it may be rather useful. Not sure how this layout and the navigation system will be though. Might take a little getting used too....

I'm really please to see the forum up!

I'm sure it will become popular [and useful] in a short time

I agree - it’ll take a while to get used to the layout. Much as Facebook is far from ideal as a  support forum, I like being able to scroll thru and see what posts grab my attention. Topic titles alone don’t appeal to me - could the first few lines of the post be included in the list?

Also, doesn’t seem that we can easily respond to a comment rather than the thread I.e. no nesting that I can see.

I am testing to see if selecting "follow" will notify me of additional comments.   Can a checkbox at the bottom could be added to these new forums with a request for email notification . . . which is on some of the older forums?

This forum is already proving to be difficult to follow recent threads and to easily see the most recent posts and topics.... and who posted them.

Perhaps its just me; I'll see if I can follow along and get used to it....

Being able to reply to specific comments is a must. Without this it is just a blog.

Dolore, I'm automatically getting email notifications but not till the following day.

Jim, it is tricky to follow threads here. So far I tend to check them all to see if there is activity but what will happen when there are 100's of them. There is a list of new posts on the main page but not sure if you can see it until you're signed in.

Rick, this forum is going to be a mess when it gets in to the 100's or 1000's of posts! lol

Even the PLUS forum could use some higher end forum type of software and interface, long threads there tend to become a scrolling adventure....

But, it is what it is, at least they are trying.

These forums are searchable, that in itself is useful.

At the right hand side of the first post, near the top of each page,  should be "follow", clicking on this will have notifications of replies sent to your registered email. How often you get them will depend on often you have set your email client to refresh. So far I have turned off follow notifications, instead I scroll down the first topics page to see the recent posts, and read or replay if interested.

There is a small gear icon on the right of each of your posts, this allows you to edit for typos, etc.

After reading / replying, I click on where it says Support Forums T the top of the page, to get me back to the home topics page, which I also have bookmarked.

Mark, just a tip. Rather than clicking on a link to open it, right-click and open in a new tab. That way when your done just close that tab and the previous page is still there and in the same position as it was. From the main page you can do this to get into each of the forums and again into each thread.

I was using a tablet, no mouse! Its an old iPad that doesn't like open in new tab for some crazy reason.

Oh, that's too bad. It would be much eeasier if you could do that.

What are the Yes/No arrows at the righthand side meant for? Does it mean 'like' and 'dislike'? Or 'agree' nd 'disagree'? Or 'I have the same' and 'I have never had that'?

A few days in and I’m really not liking the forum front page - it doesn’t give any indication of the current topics. Each section should at least have a list of the most recent threads. What’s wrong with lists that we now need to put stuff into little rectangles?

This has got to be  the worst forum layout I've ever seen.....I thought the plus forum was bad, sheesh.

Frank, in other areas on this site (Photo raw FAQ for example) the arrows are labled "Did you find this comment useful".
