Pixelated logo
I continue to be dissatisfied with the way my logo appears on images. I have a solution, but can't make it work. I took my signature into Graphic Converter to size it in such a way as to keep all the data. However, the image contains an alpha channel and the .png or .jpeg, which are the file formats I usually use, do not support an alpha channel. Consequently, the result is a solid background rather than a transparent one. A .psd file does save with the transparent . However, the .psd file grayed out in my finder when I tried to upload it to Watermarks. I thought ON1 accepted .psd files. Can anyone explain this?

I thought it would only accept a png file. If you are having problems making one, I would be happy to help.

I started with a .png file but because .png files don't have alpha channels, therefore, when you save the file, the transparent background is changed to a solid one. Obviously, you can't use as a watermark. a file with a solid background for a watermark. The .psd file does have alpha channels, so it saves the transparent background.
Can't you move into ON1 out of Photoshop (and back again) if you use both programs and aren't those files .psd files?

BTW, thanks for your response.
