I love the support forum itself, but I hate the user interface of it. I'd rather have a facebook group.

No please nt a Facebook Group. FB is not suited to forum stuff, it really sucks.

I think I agree with Frank, this forum is hard to keep track of. We've been doing user support in facebook and I think it works ok but something with features of both would be better. For example, this forum is good at keeping topics seperate, but facebook is better at having a conversation and knowing what's new right away.

I've had a win!! been asking for a more open forum since day dot --- THANK YOU!
Don't forget to send out emails about it; or did i miss mine?
And yes; a forum is FAR better than another Face(less)book0 -
Great result, Ian. Well done.

Hello, I found this thread, maybe it's the right one for post my opinion.
This forum is ok for questions/answers/help and news; but I think the look is not so good: first page, half of it displays a milkyway/mounts image, and I have to scroll (iMac 27") to reach the new topics; and then I can only see a few ones, must click on "see more" etc etc. and again again...Can that points be solved ? Isn't it possible to display about 15-20 recent topics on the same welcome page ?
I'll appreciate it !

We can definitely make changes to the home pages. So you would rather see 15-20 posts from "Recent Activity" rather than clicking see more? What about "see all" and going to a different page?

I agree, there is a lot of wasted space at the top of the main page with a huge image and 4 huge buttons. This could be more efficient.
A few other things that could use some work...
- After scrolling to the bottom of a thread, there is no way to select another thread without scrolling all the way back to the top again.
- Similarly, in a thread like this one... https://on1help.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360062514031
We know any new posts will be on the second page, but you can't get there without scrolling all the way to the bottom of the first page first. After that, you still have to scroll to the new post.
- It would be nice if the Community section of search results were sorted by Date. When I want to find a recent post, I don't want to sift through 1 and 2 year old posts to find it.

Spent a while searching for the new forum until I realized the OP was 2 years old😀
