Problem with layers

When trying to use layers to apply a different background. After adding thew first photo and creating the mask I import the new background. The system goes into a loop with red orange and green buttons at the top left of the window flashing and the cursor alternates between an arrow and a hand. This only happened after installing the new version. The other parts, Develop, Effects, Resize seem to work but this has forced me to go back to Raw 2017 to use the Layers. Anyone else had a similar problem?

  Other that the obvious suggestions like restart On1 or reboot the PC you shoud sent in a support request.

  Thanks for your respons Rick, I did follow the post with a communication and they have supplied a new update which seems to have solved the problem. Only downside is the program seem slow. Perhaps the next update will solve that issue.

  The issue seems over.

  I'm having exactly the same problem in a an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) with 32 GB Ram and latest OS. I submitted a request and hope they send me the update soon...I have a major project on hold until they do.
