I have been using ON1 Photo Raw for about a year since moving from Lightroom. I shoot primarily with my Fujifilm X-E2 using raw - Fuji's .RAF raw file format. Until very recently I had not tried exporting raw files to convert them to .JPEG files. I recently have tried exporting raw files using the EXPORT feature in ON1. The creation of the JPEG is successful but I cannot see thumbnails of these JPEG files in Browse. When I try Detail view in Browse, Develop, Effects, etc. there is a very brief low resolution image of the .JPEG file and then it disappears to be replaced by a No Picture icon.
When I check Windows File Explorer I can find the JPEG file created by ON1 Photo Raw and can open it in other programs that can open JPEG files. (I have opened these JPEG in Lightroom, Photoshop, FastStone Image Viewer, etc. All look fine as JPEG files showing the size, resolution, title, etc. input into ON1 Export. But, they do not open in ON1.)
I have tried to export other raw files (Pentax PEF and Adobe DNG) using ON1 Export and the results are the same - a JPED which ON1 can't open. Out of curiosity, I have tried to export raw files to convert them to .TIFF and . PSD files. ON1 converts them and they can be opened and worked on in the various modules. Finally, raw files converted to JPEGs in other programs are listed in ON1 but cannot be opened and worked on. Similarly, photos originally taken as JPEG files also can not be seen and worked on in ON1.
I expect that I am doing something wrong or have missed a necessary setting and hope that someone will be able to help. Thanks in advance.
