I assume you mean that On1 is EXPORTING your files at 75 ppi. That would be because you don't have the Photo Size filter in Export turnued on. In that filter you can specify the ppi that you want.

It's described on page 145 of the user manual.

Everyone seems to be missing the point.  When I open a RAW file in Browse and then look at it in Develop it shows the file to be 72ppi.  When I look at my Nikon NEF files the same way, they show 300ppi.  I haven't even got to the Export yet!

When I export my Nikon files without the print size filter selected, the edited files on my hard are still 300ppi

When I export my Fuji RAF files, the edited file on my hard drive is 72ppi.  Using he Fuji software to look at my RAF files, it shows my RAW file to be 300ppi.  When I open the exported file it now shows the file at 72ppi.  72ppi is useless to me.  I am in the fineart business and I print large format prints.  All my printers want 300ppi files.

ON1 is supposed to be Non-Destructive. If ON1 is showing my REF RAW file at 72ppi and exporting my RAW file at 72ppi, that makes it destructive as far as I am concerned.  My existing RAW is still on my hard drive at 300ppi and wasn't changed, so the only changes are located in the sidecar file.  Why should I use the Photo Size filter to set ppi when my original file is already 300ppi?

So again I ask, why is ON1 showing my original file at 72ppi? Is the On1 Tier 1 camera profiles wrong for the Fuji X-T2?

Not missing the point, you just didnt explain properly before. Copy the above post and open a support request. Paste it into the comments section. The link for support is at the top of this page.

Are you talking about Technical Support?  I have already done that and got no help.  The help I got was basically what you just told me.  So I went to User to User Forums to see if anyone else is having problems.  Didn't get much there either.  There were a few folks with similar issues but everyone else just tried to explain to me the difference between dpi and ppi. I will post it again using this wording to see what I get back.

No one in user support is going to be able to help you if On1 is showing you wrong info about your files.

    John,

Where is the ppi shown in ON1?  I've got an X-T2, so could check some of my images.

Chris:  When you are in Browse mode it is at the top of the info panel on the right side.  Right above Metadata.

Thanks John, I was looking in Develop - I'm seeing exactly the same and had not noticed it before.

I guess if we both raise the issue there might be some response

I am beginning to think it has to be a camera profile.  If your T-2 data is the same, then that has to be what it is.  The dimensions are correct at 6000x4000 and file size is correct at 48.2 meg.  If it is just a label thing it should be easy for ON1 programmers to fix.

CHris:  Post something to Technical Support.  You are welcome to use some of my words in my comment above.  Your file size is smaller so you probably do not have your camera settings the same as mine.

John: I've posted support request.  I looked at one of my old Sony Raw files and this showed as 350 ppi, so I think you're probably correct.

John,   I see the same thing with my Canon 5D MKIV it must be just a profile thing for some reason. edited to add: Or perhaps browse is just displaying the image @ 72 PPI and is telling us that??

Interestingly enough if you look at info in Develop, Effects or Layers the PPI value is not displayed - see second image below.

David: it's probably worth logging this with Support as well as it's affecting a different camera.

John: I've had a reply back asking me to upload a Fuji Raw file for them to look at, have you heard back? To quote from their reply "it looks like Photo RAW either isn't properly reading your .RAF files, or is showing the dimensions of the embedded thumbnail".

Chris: Glad you got a response, they still have not responded to mine.  They are probably tired of hearing it from me.  I have reported it three times, I got emails from the first two and all they wanted was screen shots like the one I posted here.  Never asked for a RAW file.

John: Maybe it's because I'm still in the refund period!  Ah well, it will be interesting to see if they resolve the issue.
