On1 crashing as standalone on Imac 2009

1tb ssd hard drive 12 gm of ram brush lagging and software usually crashes after a few minutes. When using as a P.s plug in it works great anyone else having this problem?

  Yes having crashing issues and freezing and zooming in randomly when cropping, using clone or adjustment brush.  Basically it is driving me mad.  It is also doing exactly the same on my windows 10 pc.
