Export .psd to Photoshop with original layers?
When I export a previously edited psd from ON1 to Photoshop it opens as a "composite" image and flattens the original layers. Is there anything in settings to correct this? I ALWAYS want the layers if its a psd.
Thanks

The only setting for that, that I know of is in Settings, Files and selecting PSD from the list. If you've already checked that i have no other suggestions.

Thanks Rick, they even say "a copy of the original is always made in this format". Which I do not understand. Opening with layers available and intact is the point of saving as a PSD. This could be a deal-breaker for me with ON1.

What about not "sending" the file, but rather opening On1s saved PSD in Photoshop. That one should have all of the layers.
Have you gone through the "EDITING A PHOTO IN PHOTOSHOP TO PRESERVE CHANGES MADE IN ON1 PHOTO" on page 11 of the user manual?

I have the same question/issue. Export or opening in another editor does not retain the layers. File format says (Supports Layers), but I guess it doesn't.
