Searching these support forums
CompletedI have subscribed to the forums here and I like that part. I was just trying to go and try and search for a previous post using some keywords I knew where in the post. But I am stuck. It does not seem to work. I did manage to find some results, but only in name only. For instance, I was looking for the word "irfanview" which I know is in at least one older post on these community support forums. I put that in the What can we help you with? Search box at the top and it says it found two results in the knowledge base but does not show them. And I am pretty sure the knowledge base is not the community forums.
Anyone know how to search for previous posts here?

Theoretically, if you go to google and enter irfan site:https://on1help.zendesk.com it should work, but I just tried it and couldn't find irfan.
EDITED: i see you just used irfan in a post and i didn't see it. Progably because these forums are in a database and not searchable from outside.
The search on this page says there are 3 results, but doesn't show them. Probaly a bug that On1 should be made aware of.

Yep. I think this is a good thing for ON1 support to implement. Perhaps they already tried it. But I know that they monitor this group as they replied to a post I made earlier.
So for now, all we have is a list view of posts. No searching. That is probably useable right now, but in 6 months from now, there will be a lot of lost information that will have to be repeated. Painful.
ON1 Support: Can you see if you can implement a search tool for these new support forums please?

I just posted something similar. Since I couldn't search, I didn't know this was an old issue until I scrolled through 8 pages of posts. I think the problem is that ON1 is using Zendesk which obviously is lacking key features. The only control they have is moving to a new system for the forum, which I hope they consider.
