Sticky for Previous Versions of ON1 RAW
I am thinking that there should be a sticky of the RAW 2018 versions site. I know if requested that the ON1 Tech staff have given it out. But if it's the weekend and a long weekend like this weekend in the US, it might be beneficial to have a place to revert back to an earlier version that worked for us. Obviously they have a way to control what versions of ON1 software we can activate so unless I'm missing something this would be a great self help for some of us.
For me - I now have run into 3 issues with 2018.5.3 that I didn't have with 2018.5 and 2018.5.1 (2018.5.2 had an general issue so I didn't use it) and they are - Layers doesn't seem to want to open, Clone tool in Develop and Effects not cloning (cloned area disappears) and now things are getting hung up computer wise - I notice my CPU is reaching >96% usage which bogs down the computer ... I don't remember having these issues with 2018.5 and 2018.5.1.
Just a thought if ON1 tech staff pops into these forums.

I think you're right Vinny, it seems most people just blindly do an automatic upgrade without any thought about going back if it doesn't work. For myself, I always manually download the new version before installing it, so now I have a copy of every version since ON1 Photo 10.5 (2016).
If you log in to On1 and go to the download area in your profile, is it the newest version listed there or the version that you originally paid for?

Rick,
It just says 2018.5 so I imagine the version downloading is the latest. In the past I have kept older versions and I do have a couple of downloads from previous upgrades. I just looked and if I hover over the file Windows tells me what file version. I have one from June so I am assuming that is either 2018.5 or 2018.5.1. I will revert back to it and see if all goes OK, it would be good to be able to go to a specific place and get a specific version that you know had no issues on your machine.0 -
I agree Vinny, it would be handy. If you're going to save those versions, make sure to mark what version they are too. Mine are each in their own folders with the full date and version when I recieved it.
