On1 Resize 2018
I'm on a 2018 Mac Pro. I've tried to reinstall the application because I have run into the following issues.
- Application no longer shows thumbnails.
- Trying to resize a file causing the loading screen to hang.
- opening a file from bridge with the open in on1 2018 resize opens the resize program, but a hidden dialog box is open and there is no way to escape it without force-quitting the application.
- Trying to resize from the Photoshop automation menu opens resize and actually loads the file. Upon selecting done, On1 resize and Photoshop CC (latest version) both crash.
- I've been using v10 as a standby. It's a much better program than 2018. The browser is a waste of resources. I just want a simple resize application that has the high quality resize of 2018 without all of the other junk.

Did you just install this or have you been running it for a while and these problems just popped up?
I hate hidden dialog boxes, so annoying. Sometimes you can switch to it with win + tab keys. Depends on what's in front.
Seems to me that if both of your programs are crashing, something else is going on.

It's just 2018 that's crashing. I've been using it for about a month now. I went through, deleted the prefs, removed the cache, uninstalled it, apparently I missed something though? After reinstalling it the same issues still occur.
On the hidden dialog I've tried the alt-tab to cycle windows (I'm on a Mac). Tried showing all application windows (f10). Just get an alert sound with no visible dialog.
I liked the new resize better with the quality options.

On1 has an uninstall utility that's supposed to get all of the hidden files, but if you used it, it might take V10 as well. You could try it and when reinstalling use admin mode.
There is a script 1/2 way down this page
