Document Failed to Load - Apple Photos Extension
Hello
I'm using ON1 Photo Raw 2018 on a iMac running the latest version of High Sierra. Every time I try to open a photo in ON1 Develop from within Apple Photos using the ON1 extension, I get the following message from Photo Raw: "Document Failed to Load". I contacted ON1 tech support and they acknowledged the problem but offered no solution. Has anyone resolved this issue?

Sounds like On1 needs to fix it in an update and it's not something you can fix till then.

Same problem here. I wish I hadn't upgraded because it 'quits unexpectedly" everytime I try to ope the program. I am on an IMAC version 10.14.5. It is currently unusable. HELP somebody.

Eddie, to get past the crash at startup, disconnect any external drives you have then launch the program. It should work then. Now you can reconnect your drives, quit the program, and relaunch it without crashing.
I was having this same problem when I first started using the .5 update. I no longer have that problem. My photos are on an external drive and it seems the crashing has something to do with the previews for the image folder you first see. By disconnecting the drive, the program resets what it displays at startup allowing it to startup normally. Once it is working again you can go back to that image folder without problems.
