Croping zoomed image

Hello,

Is it possible in ON1 2018 to crop an image when it is zoomed, at 100% for example? As soon as I select the crop tool the whole image is displayed.

Thanks for any advice.

  No, you can't crop when zoomed but I have to ask why you'd want to. If you're trying to achieve something there might be another way. What's your goal?

  I am trying to precisely crop around the edges of a small rectangular object in the center of my image and I find it difficult to get it exactly right. I can achieve the right crop through a bit of trial and error but it would be easier if there was an option to crop on a zoomed image.

  If I've understood ... move the file to layers where you should be able to mask (remove) vs crop

  One thing you could try is to do a general crop, then export and bring the exported photo back and crop it again. That would be the equivalent of cropping a zoomed area, but you need to finish your other edits first since the 2nd crop won't be on the Raw file. I don't know what the goal of this tight cropping is, but you may need to run it through Resize to get a reasonable result.
