Develop module slow in loading photo

I have a Macbook Pro 17" (Sierra) and my Canon 5D Mark III... wondering why it takes so long to load my photo in the develop module?

  Why, I don't know. It just does. Do you have a progress bar while it loads? At least you'll know something is happening.

  On both of my Windows 10 computers, AI Noise Reduction loads the images very slowly - sometimes 2 to 5 minutes. This makes the program useless.

  Lance you have resurrected a 3-year old thread to ask a question about a different product on a different OS!

  You might do better to start a new thread, giving full details of your system etc.
