    Not sure of the video you are looking for but one tip that might help. If you are masking in or out with the perfect brush the "Ctrl" key in windows will lock the sampled color. So in your case go into the sky press the ctrl key and click and starting paining out. as you go over the leaves the white sky between the leaves will be removed . Not sure what key is used on a Mac probably the "Command" key.
