Understanding differences between ON1 Photo and Affinity Photo
Sorry if this question is not very clear but I am not sure of the best way to frame it. I use Photoshop on and off to create some basic images for our game days. I used photoshop a couple of years back to do this. An example of one such image is the one below. I am hoping to move away from photoshop and use either Affinity Photo or On1 Photo to do this. My requirements are nothing too fancy but I don't know enough about graphic design to honestly state what I want. Doing small stuff like the one below is more of a hobby that I will be doing maybe 3-4 times a year, if that. Will ON1 work for this? Would it be a better option than Affinity Photo? Thanks guys.

It would be tricky to do the black outlines in On1 and you'd need to know if the graphics are in a compatible format to be read by On1.
I'm assuming that you have On1 so if you can add a graphic as a layer, that part should work.
The only way to get those outlines is to either have one pre made that you can add as a layer or you're going to need two color layers for each outline to make a box then cut out the center of it.

I have both but would choose Affinity for this type of thing.

Plus, maybe Affinity Designer would help hear too? I have only just played with that a tiny bit.
