    I don't think you can, you have to turn it on each time. However you could open the ones you need and make a preset that you can apply to give you a predefined starting place.

    As a side note, in 2019 Transform has been added to develop by default.

    Thanks. I didn't think about the preset. 
    Good news on 2019. I'm ready to start using it, but the current download, it's still asking me to log in as a trial version. I assume, so I can still use 2018.5.2 for production work? Any news on when general release will be?

    Yes, you shouldn't be using a Beta for production. Keep in mind any work you do in 2019 is not backward compatible with 2018.
