Fast vs Accurate Previews
Can someone tell me what the visual difference is between fast and accurate previews? I have viewed photos both ways and they look the same, the only difference is how fast they load. So I don't understand when I would even want to use accurate previews over fast previews and if there is no reason to use it, why have it as an option?

From the 2019 user manual, page 24...
" RAW Preview Mode: Lets you set how you would like to view photos in Detail mode. Fast
will use embedded previews from the photos, while Accurate will generate a color-balanced
preview. "0 -
I have never been able to discern a difference between Fast vs Accurate.
Same for Fast Panning.

I notice the difference when entering grid mode full sized image, at first it's not a clear representation of the image, but enough to confirm I've clicked on the desired image, after a second or so I get a perfectly clear image.
