There are instructions starting on page 18 of the User Guide (Nov 2018) on how to set this up.

Rick, thanks so much for the User Guide reference. I really appreciate it...and will take a look today. There are so many helpful learning resources online at ON1 -- videos and eBooks and downloads oh my! -- that I have neglected to spend more quality time with the actual User Manual. ;)

Sounds like you are selecting your entire Pictures folder to "Add To Cataloged Folders".

ON1 will not recognize the .photoslibrary, unless there is some tool I don't know about.

Henry, I have the same problem. I just installed the On1 2019 and can´t import my mac´s Photo Library. I can´t find how to do it either.  Please, help!

    Maria,

I ended up calling ON1 tech support only to find out that the latest Photo Raw upgrade to version 2019.5 requires Mac OS 10.12.X (Sierra) or higher to work correctly.

I cannot upgrade past Mac OS Yosemite 10.11.X because I'd no longer be able to run the downloaded Photoshop CS5.1 application.

So I'm stuck at Photo Raw version 13.2.1

Photos stores your images inside a .library file which is a special type of folder on the Mac that protects its contents. PhotoRAW cannot see inside the .library files. You'll have to export from Photos to another location on your system if you want PhotoRAW to see them, especially if you have done any editing within the Photos app.

If all you want is to be able to access the original image files from within PhotoRAW you can Control-click on the iPhotos Library file and choose the command Show Package Contents. Inside the library you'll see a folder named Masters. That folder contains all the images that have been imported to the Photos app. You can copy them from there to another location for ON1 to see them. You will loose any edits doing this.
