Export layers image slow
Maybe I do something wrong but to export my 3 layer work takes all the power of my Intel 7 CPU (3,5 Ghz) and up to 3 minutes. Is this normal?
Thanks

Yes, for the time being it is. Some find it works better to go back to browse before exporting. there are plenty of posts here about it if you look for them.

I agree with Rick. I've found that exporting from inside any of the Edit tabs takes a very long time, yet if I return to Browse the same image exports in seconds. If I had to guess, while in an Edit tab the sidecar file is open and hasn't been finalized, so an export requires an 'on the fly' compilation of the current edits - a linear application of all the live Develop, Effects, Local, and Portrait adjustments. But when we click back to Browse the sidecar file is closed and finalized so a request to export isn't a linear read of all open edits and much faster.
Just a guess, but I've seen this behavior in other non-imaging platforms and this has been the explanation.

Ok thanks. I will check that as soon as I have sorted this problem as it is no use test without this fixed first. When I sen the layers from edit only one layer reach the destination. I tried to submit a request but since the psd file holding the two layers I am trying to sen from Edit are about 450 Mb I cannot get the request trough. So I must try to reduce the size of the files (layers) just for the experiment
Thanks

If you need to send large files to On1, you can upload them to WeTransfer and just send On1 a link to the file. They can access it from there. Make sure you make the link easy for them to find in your message.

Thanks
The info about WeTransfer was only for transferring? the files. So I must know the receiving address. Maybe I find some other way to deliver the file
Thanks

No, WeTransfer is simple to use. Upload the file, it will give you a link that you include in your message to On1. Done.
