Can’t view photo of RAF file in Edit mode in on1 raw 2019

I've just downloaded the trial and am about to use On1 for the first time, so this of course is a complete guess, but RAF problems are quite common in Capture One, for example, and the case there is almost always that the person shooting Fuji Raw has set it up so they are shooting the compressed raw version.  Only the larger full RAF is supported in C1 - so perhaps check to see if that is not the problem.  :)

So I just checked and it is uncompressed. I can view the photo in browse and it appears to be normal in the preset thumbnails. I’ve tried DNG file and it happens the same thing but it is fine with jpg 🤔

Dang.  I was hoping that was it.  I've just recently sold off all my fuji gear, but have thousands of files over the years all the way from the Original Fuji X-Pro 1 to the X-Pro2 and several of the X-T bodies.  I never did buy the X-H1 or XT2 or 3 models.  Which Camera/Camera's are you shooting with?

I guess it makes sense that the previews would show, as the jpg preview is baked in even if one does not shoot RAW?JPG at the same time.  Only the file is with smaller pixel dimensions.

Unfortunately I won't have a chance to play with it until I get back home this evening, but I'll let you know if I have any of the same problems.

I'm a Capture One user since 2004, and I've not had problems except with compressed RAF, but a few months ago, I bought DXO labs for the lens correction profiles.  DXO does not support RAF of any sort, so I thought I'd work around it and convert to DNG - and nope, it does not work.  There is a workaround, but one has to hack the raw file header, and I'm not going to go to that much trouble.  :)

So it could be a a bug, or perhaps some sort of setting glitch.  Do you have a second machine that you can edit this with?  One other thought ... are you on a Mac, or a PC?  I'm not sure of this neither, but I believe that it's apples Raw converted that companies are using for the conversions, not like Capture One and a few others that build their demosaic engines from scratch.  I wonder if the supported cameras are the same on the Mac and PC versions?

Sorry, I'm probably not adding anything of value here.  But I hope you get to the bottom of this. If you camera is on the supported list, is the operating system the latest?  In the case of the Mac, I believe that the support for RAF. comes from the OS raw engine, and thus it may require Mojave for some of Fuji's latest cameras.  I've always loved the look of the X-Trans images.  Something special there, in my eyes, in my view.

    Good luck.

I'm shooting with xt3. I'm using window 10. I have tried to uninstall and reinstalled it. the camera is in the supported list. I contacted on1 support and waiting to hear back from them. I don't think I can post a photo in here to make it easier to describe the issue 😀.
Thank so much for your inputs though, really appreciate it.

Jude, are your Canon's RAW files .cr3? ON1 does not support .cr3 files yet. The engineers are working on it and we've been told support for them will be in an upcoming update. They can be worked on if converted to the .dng format first.

Jude, if your files are CR3, On1 is working on the problem. There should be an update later this summer.
