Tether support for Sony Cameras
I recently migrated from Capture One and the one thing I miss is the ability to shoot tethered with my Sony a7R III. I have searched this blog as to some indication of a future release that might include Sony tethering but found none. Is there any information that I missed on this issue?

On page 33 of the user manual is this note:
NOTE: ON1 Photo RAW 2019’s Tethered Shooting feature currently supports
most Canon and Nikon digital SLR cameras. Check ON1’s support website
(on1help.zendesk.com) for additional camera models. The link in the note leads to this page that only lists Canon and Nikon models.

To paraphrase the original poster "are there any plans to support Sony camera tethered shooting in the FUTURE. If you are planning to support Sony camera tethered shooting IN A FUTURE release (i.e. not current release which clearly states only Nikon and Canon are currently supported), would you kindly let us know? In the spirit of Christmas, maybe even thrown in a rough timeline (on1 2020? Not for at least another year? We are held up by licensing agreements, so not in the foreseeable future, but could change on short notice?)

Verlon, I don't know who you THINK is reading this forum, but we're all users here. There is no one from On1 to answer the question. If you want an answer directly from On1 you'll have to send in a support request. On the other hand, if you want to you can submit the request on the On1 Ideas page for it to be voted on.

As it is an on1 forum on an on1 website, I would hope that someone from on1 was reading every now and then, just to make sure the place doesn't get overrun with spam posts from flat-earthers and Kodak Disc camera enthusiasts.
That said, apparently some person named Rick S. glosses over there forums without reading the original question, thus the need to apply capital letters. Because Rick S. obviously noticed the capital letters in my post, now he can understand that both the OP and I were curious about plans to support Sony cameras in a future release. Both the OP and I are aware of the restrictions to tethered support in the current release.
Neither of us claimed that tethered support was broken. Neither of us were asking how to enable support. Neither of us commented that the tethered support for Sony wasn't working or wasn't working with X-camera (or I guess A-camera because X-cameras are currently Fuji).
You response wasn't helpful as it did not answer the question. Additionally, it kinda comes across as RTFM - which isn't very nice and still does not answer the question.
Have a happy new year!

Verton. In future if you would like to post crap, please mark it as such so that the people who are actually trying to help don't mistakenly waste their time on you.
