Photo panorama and unwanted power lines
AnsweredHi all.
Happy New Year.
I have just taken a landscape pano with 5 pictures. I have some problems with the picture for which I need some help. Unfortunately there are power lines going from one side to the other at the upper part of the image.(Not possible to avoid these when shooting!) Partly the power lines are with sky in background and partly in front of some trees with lots of branches. If the power lines had been straight, I would jus leave them, but now they form an arch over the picture and look very strange.
What would be best way to remove these? Should I have removed them in the individual pictures before merging to panorama? Remove from sky area is ok, but what with the area with lots of branches behind? Just be patient and remove in many small stage?? Any suggestions to solve this? What have I done wrong and what should I have done? I expect that others have had similar problems, and therefore I share this question.
Thanking you in advance.

My experience is removing distractions AFTER pano is created. Remove from sky first using perfect brush, clone stamp, or retouch brush; move to the tree section and try the perfect brush is small areas. I usually perform these actions at 100% prior to any other adjustments.

There's not technically a right or wrong way, but as Peter explained (and I agree with), this is the best workflow in this case.
