Color matching

I am working on a photo book having several images on the same opening. Some of the pages look really mixed as the photos have been taken in different time frame and places. I have seen couple of articles about this subject using PS, but since I do not use it I am asking, is there On1 RAW material or perhaps tutorial(s) about how to do color matching, say between two photos, to start with.
