Photo Raw 2019.5 coming in mid May
Just announced (Apr 23) on the Facebook page. 2019.5 (why not .3?) will be released in Mid may.

I'm really looking forward to this release. I do have a concern though, that keywords will be case sensitive. I sincerely hope that "sport" will find "Sport". All I really want is to be able to enter upper case letters. Searching should not be case sensitive. Fingers crossed.

So many really useful (and complex) features. Absolutely looking forward to 2019.5.
However, sure hope On1 tests it all out before releasing.
Each new release from On1 is a (temporary ?) step back. New problems to be solved. Déjà vu, all over again.

I love these guys so much, I want to marry them!
Seriously I hope they test the hell out of this. This needs to be stable and trustworthy right out of the gate.
I like the current release but it locks up from time to time and it has issues.
It is still the best bet to knock off Lightroom.
These guys are in a position to take a giant piece of the available market share, which is big.
And available!!!
If they do this right I will quit buying updates from all the other companies that want this market share but so far cannot deliver. Probably will keep buying them!
Please, please, please GET THIS RIGHT. The honeymoon will be spectacular. I promise.

Gerry, according the the announcement case aware keywords are part of the update along with hierarchical structures. I'm looking forward to that too.

An impressive list of features, but what good does it do when I can't use my CR3 files?
No, I'm not converting them to DNG and lose (meta)data. If ON1 really wants to be considered a serious competitor to Lightroom you better get your act together and support file formats of the newest Canon cameras. CR3 has been out for a year now and still no support for it in ON1...
I switched from Lightroom to ON1 because I hate the subscription plan Adobe has. Maybe it's time to bite the bullet and return to Adobe. It doesn't seem ON1 wants me as a customer.

Brian, I know. I am just worried that searching wil be case sensitive. I.e Sport <> sport, and sport will not find Sport.

Got the software a few days ago, so quite happy to see an update already.
Especially hyped for the new preview modes for iGPU. Hopefully makes editing my pictures on the go with my Surface Pro faster :D

I wonder what kind of PC/MAC are they using at 3min. here https://www.on1.com/products/photo-raw/whats-new/?t=2#wn-7
The speed is impressive.

It's not just new Canon files they don't support. They claim Tier 1 support for my Nikon D610 that has been out for 6 years but they really only support lower quality 12 bit files - not 14 bit. They don't have plans to support them either. The marketing is a bit misleading.
