Slow?....I'm not sure....between the crashes and freezes I haven't been able to tell.

2018 version is looking good at the moment...and that's saying something!

This, the freezes and my Wacom tablet stopping working is really killing my enthusiasm for this product. Does anyone know how to revert to 2019.2? This worked reasonably well for me.

I'm very unhappy with 2019.5 too. So far I'm trying to find a download for 2019.0 and reinstall it. I did have issues with 2019.2 which support blamed on my video card even thought I didn't experience the same problems with 2019.

Now 2019.5 is making me reconsider ON1.

Well after some further testing I must say that it is not only VERY slow - it is also very buggy.

    4 crashes within 5 minutes.

ON1 - please do not ship your beta versions until they have been tested fully.

This it definitely not the case with this version.

I suggest that you either witdraw it very quickly - or patch ot within a couple of days.

Othervise you will get many rather angry customers

    - Also here, crashs after crashs.
    - Wacom tablet pen cannot use.
    - Export only works correctly on develop module correctly
    - the brush is very very slow many times, WORST then it was on 2019.2
    - The retouch module using it on effects, don't permit a good export, it destroys the photo when we go export.

Don't understand why is this, but this is too many bugs. I really like this software, but we need a better response and quick correction from the developers.

I supose they don't like Windows, since i barely see complains with MAC's.

Anyone can download the installers for previous versions they've purchased by going to My Account under the 3 horizontal bars pullout menu at the top right of this page. At the top of that page you can click a link to show your all your registered versions and download their installer.

    Brian, You can't download 2019.2 only 2019.5

Yes, you're right Gerry. My apologies. I tend to keep my old installers for just this reason. That and so I don't have to wait for another download when I want to reinstall. :) Sorry for the confusion.

Every version within the branch we paid for should be available for download.

    @JLeitao

I’m experiencing freezing issues where the computer stops responding and the cursor is frozen on a 2017 iMac i7 with 32 GB of RAM, so these bugs you’re all complaining about are not restricted to Windows PCs. It hasn’t crashed, but ON1 stops responding to about one minute, and eventually comes back to life.

All, I saw this in another post https://on1help.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360043519351

The user in that post indicated that in an attempt to figure out what was slowing On1 down on their high end machine the unplugged a USB CFast card reader and all the issues with slowness and hanging in On1 went away. Another user responded that they unplugged a USB card reader also and their problems went away. Perhaps On1 software is trying to read the card reader and getting delayed scanning the reader.

So something to try. Unplug all non critical USB devices and see if the On1 performance improves.

My card reader is built into my Thunderbolt 3 dock. I've unplugged the dock so only my 2 external drives are connected to the laptop — the one containing my Pictures folder and the other is my Scratch drive. The program is still hanging on launch even though I ran it for several hours last night.

Can confirm now the bugs. I've uninstalled 2019.5, and installed again 2019.2 (i always store all versions).
With 2019.2 the crashs and all the bugs reported have disappeared.

My card reader is built into my Thunderbolt 3 dock. Inserting an SD card did not help nor did unplugging the dock so only the drive containing my photos and the SSD I use for scratch space were plugged into the laptop. That did not help either. With the dock unplugged and the pictures drive disconnected I restarted the computer then plugged the dock back in with the pictures drive attached to one of its ports. ON1 started right up without any problems this time. Definitely something odd going on.

I spoke too soon. It was responsive at first and all my drives are showing up again but while I was writing this report the program hung again without having been used.

I'm running a fast i7, 32gb ram and a 4 gb video card. It's running verrrrrry slow, with constant freezes/crashes. It took over 12 hours to import my Lightroom catalog and it is not showing my edits. The keywords and color badges are there, but no edits. I purchased 2019.2 a week ago and was looking forward to the dual monitor support in 2019.5, but I may have just wasted my money.

2019.5 is a disaster. I made a stupid mistake of not keeping the old installers. I asked support to point me in the right direction, since it seems ON1 has a policy of hiding older installers. Weird, eh?

I just upgraded from 2018.5 to 2019.5. I must agree that on my Windows 10 laptop, 2019.5 doesn't seem to perform nearly as well, and working with it is a bit frustrating. I will probably re-install 2018.5
