    Hi William:

I am new to this program but found that when I exported my image as a .tiff file the image was very flat looking and desaturated. All I did to fix this problem was to change the color profile in the export box. This can only be changed if you save a .tiff or .psd file. The default setting was Adobe rgb 1998 and I changed the profile to srgb iec61966-2.1. I don’t know if this will fix your problem but it might be worth a try. There are other profiles so you might have to try others. This info can be found in the File Type box.

    Hope this helps

    Paul

I am also having the same issues but only on some photos, and most often on black and white photos, which often get exported much brighter than the edited image. When this happens, the only option that has worked so far is to export the images to Photoshop PSD format.

Yes also having the same issue, messed up colors, weird Ghosting! it also affects photos previously edited with 2019.2 when you open them in 2019.5. I put a support ticket in, they say there is no fix at this time!

One way to resolve that until is fixed:

go to resize, then choose export from there, your photo will export perfectly.

Ha, that does work! I wonder if ON1 knows that, might provide a clue as to the problem. I hope they get it fixed soon. Effects can be hardly noticeable to very dramatic like in the image!!

I've had to reinstall the older version. Works great!!  Also tried a trial version of Luminar 3 and must say I'm impressed!

Luminar 3 has a big problem. you cannot save sidecars, so if you loose you catalog database you loose all the edits on your photos. And you cannot edit a photo and make a backup of the edit.
That's a feature that any program for photography should have., without that is worst than bugs.

Thanx for that info Joao . . . I will be cautious and check it out!!

I started with Luminar and came to ON1. Luminar has some good potential but it can't hold a candle to On1 in my opinion.

I'm hoping they get this problem fixed for us soon. I do wish there was a place where known bugs were posted, I wasted a good few hours thinking it was a problem with my PC before finding out that it's a known bug.

Totally agree with you Guy Meacham. The only good thing of Luminar is stability, but without the sidecar saving, it's no use. Also the Raw processing is much worse, at least for my camera.

For me ON1 it's the program to go, but we need the bugs fixed

I'm also having to use "Resize" to get a correct looking export

Still no fix for this I guess, exporting 1 image at a time though resize interesting is not a solution.

This bug means 2019.5 is useless on my win7 and win 10 machines :(
