New Improved Export - With Added Bugs

I have also had some interesting results with exports--sometimes they export very quickly, sometimes they take a long period of time.  A few of the jpeg export have been of poor quality, almost like it exported the quick preview instead, and sometimes they are fine.  This is in regards to 2019.5.

So many serious issues and such a wide range of issues, too. You have to wonder if it was ever tested before it was released. I beta test for another photographic software company and we’d never let anything go out that was this bad. It's really good software without these glitches but they must be a major embarrassment to them. Hope they can fix it quickly.

I am having a similar problem as Greg above - found out if I do not resize the exported image is fine but if I resize I get a very poor quality image.

What is more confusing is that I have 3 raw files taken today and when resized two are fine and one is poor???

With a bit of playing and changing the colour profile to sRGB it exported fine when resizing and when I reset it back to AdobeRGB is still worked OK - confused - I know this bug has been reported

Sadly, reliable image exporting is a critical feature of image editing software, and software that won't do it properly is not very useful to me.  I went back to 2019.2.

I have done the same for now Greg as I need things to be consistent and working correctly. Very disappointed with the update 2019.5

Hi, just wanted to chime in, again, regarding the export issues. I have once more needed to return to Adobe Bridge, LR & PS in order to provide consistent quality output. I will keep my comments short because my level of frustration is getting extreme.

If anyone from On1 reads these posts and cares, I am at the point giving up all hope that Photo Raw is or can be the tool to replace Adobe. One problem gets fixed and a bunch more surface. Some nice-to-have features get added and the most important features, such as export, continue to make Photo Raw useless and undependable.

I add the cost of my Adobe tools to the overall cost of using On1 Photo Raw. That makes Photo Raw the most expensive software not ready for primetime.

You can keep adding bells & whistles, but if I cannot produce a usable image, I see no value.

I keep thinking about that old saying regarding perfuming a pig.

The bottom line is this program is unstable and results are not consistent.  I can not rely on this software for client projects, too much time spending beta testing their supposedly final release. I love many features of this software by it's unreliable it cost me money to use.

I agree, no use to me when the export function can’t be relied on. Going back to 19.2

I just removed it from my system for the time being.  Not worth the frustration, I just hope someone shakes up their development and Q/A teams and get the Marketing suits outta of the way.
