Self Help Advice
Windows users you might consider running SFC (system file checker) before opening a support ticket.
I opened a support ticket about the software simply terminating after adding 15 jpg images from browse to layers; Stevie from support correctly diagnosed the problem after I supplied all the requested information. He suggested running SFC which resolved the issue. On my Win 10 pc this took less than 5 minutes

Agreed, I've run SFC many times, also Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) and if unrepairable errors were found, then an "In place repair" which fixed my PC's almost daily crashing last year.
For those who don't know, SFC can be run at any time and takes about 30 min. All you need is an Administrator command prompt, then run: sfc /scannow

If your PC is constantly crashing or has unrepairable errors, you may need the 'in place repair'. This requires a good windows image which you can download from Microsoft and install on a USB, then run it from INSIDE your current windows. It will repair your Windows without losing any programs or Files. Details are here...

Good tip Peter, I'll add it to my list of tweaks
