Has the ON1 Photo Raw project stalled?

I'm pretty sure everyone is focused right now on getting the bugs out of the .5 update. Once things slow down again and they can start considering new features it will get updated.

No, it's not closed. On1 looks at it when they have time. All ideas need to be OK'd before they're added to the list and On1 will go through all of the new ideas as a group when they're finished with more important things.

OK that makes sense.  I like the idea of getting feature requests from their user base, so good to know that this will get picked up again.

The ON1 Photo RAW Project is not closed. We look through each idea submission for approval and it may take a bit of time before you see your idea posted on the page.

Here is an idea for the Raw project...

How about informing the contributor if the idea is accepted or denied.  I am certain I have proposed 6 ideas, I saw one post... but never heard about the others.   I guess the idea wasn't any good... but I would certainly like to hear that feedback.

Also, a bit of pruning may be in order as there are certainly things that have been there for a long time that don't have any action.

Gus, I think you're going to have to submit that idea!  ;-)

The funny part... is this is one of the "ideas" I added that was never allowed,.. andI never heard any feedback.  :)

No one is ever going to send you an update if that's what you mean. You can go find your ideas to see if anyone has voted on them. The ones that On1 plans to implement are marked as such. That's the only feedback there is.

It is well proven On1 will not send a response to why contributions were rejected.  That is the exact point.   I have 1 of 6 potential contributions posted (at least that is all I could find as the search options are a bit limited)....   I would like to understand why the other 5 weren't accepted. Without the feedback from On1 for the reason of the rejection, it certainly seems a bit more like a shot in the dark.

I certainly like the idea behind the project, but I probably expect too much.

ON1 should be mindful of the old adage, "be careful for what you ask for." I often get the idea that they are trying to be all things to all players, which is a recipe for disaster. Hence..... consider 2019.5
