ColourChecker Passport AGAIN!!!
Hi, OK not to be rude but I write this with no hope of On1 ever getting to reply or indeed implementing this into the software.
If you go to the On1 Photo RAW Ideas page you can see that this has been requested for THREE yes THREE years now and on the On1 Photo RAW Ideas page it clearly states QUOTE '
ON1 Will Review It
After an idea reaches 200 ratings with a 3-star or higher rating, the project team will review the details and begin asking questions. We can't put every good idea into development, but we'll try!' this last piece I understand but THREE years with 4 1/2 stars. https://www.on1.com/products/photo-raw/ideas/idea/support-colorchecker/. Yes an attempt was made to appease users by introducing colour scene options but this really is no differant to Adobe's offerings in Photoshop or Lightroom, made by someone beleiving that one shoe fits all and that is not the case even with the same branded/model camera purchased from the same shop/store. It seems that developers (not just On1) are going head strong into the of A I and pushing everything else to one side so the company can say " Alter your images with our newest A I offering the No 1 software useing A I" so if this A I is so good why can we not make our own camera colour profiles with it? Thankyou. Russ.
Since writing this I have found that Skylum Luminar allows you to import/add Camera colour profiles to there already installed list surley the developers of On1 Photo RAW can at least give an option to import DCP's of our own making, you don't even need Lightroom to make your own DCP's there are other options (FREE) that you can use. Thankyou. Russ.
