Trouble with Local - Gradient
I'm having trouble with this tool, it seems I can add one adjustment, but adding another either confuses the system or confuses me.
For example, I'm editing a football shot where the teams have stood for a minutes applause, it's a bright day, so to keep the teams from getting too blown out - I select a faster shutter speed, but not that fast.
In editing in ON1 the sky is still too bright, I go to local, switch to gradient and place the gradient marker on the horizon, it's pretty flat so I reduce the space between the feather markers.
That's the sky sorted, now the players & the pitch are too dark, I go to the top and click Add, for some reason my cursor changes to add another gradient and if I click on the picture one is indeed added, but the program seem to add one in a random location as well, so I end up with 3.
Even by deleting one, which I think I've managed to do, adding a second gradient seems to cancel out the first, and the sky re-blows out or the players go dark again.
I've watched the video which explains how to use this tool 3 times now and from what I've seen I'm not doing anything wrong, are there any known issues with multiple gradients?

I've not had any problems using multiple gradients but then I rarely use them in the same local adjustment.
Are you clicking into the picture after clicking the Add button? Clicking the button automatically adds a new gradient, clicking in the photo after clicking add will then place a 3rd gradient. Click the Add button then click on the newly added gradient to select it then you can move it where it is needed. You don't have to use the Add button, simply clicking in the photo again will add another gradient where you click.Rather than adding a second gradient for the players & pitch in the same local adjustment try creating a new LA just for that portion of the photo and put the gradient there.
