Photos Export "Black"
I just uploaded 2019.6 and still having problems exporting a photo as a JPEG without it being black. I tried to use Resize but when I did the whole photo turned black in ON1. I guess I switch back to 2019.2 again. This is getting to be a love/hate relationship with ON1. I really like using it but it's making my workflow so slow and crazy that it may be time to go back to Lightroom and use ON1 as a plug-in. I wish the software developers would correct all these issues before bring out a new version.

If you want to post your image and its sidecars to a sharing site such as Dropbox I'd be glad to take a look at it and see if I have the same problems or if there is a solution you may have missed.

I would be extremely happy if you could help. I would be happy to let you take control of my computer to solve this issue. I have updated my graphics card and have followed every suggestion by the ON1 staff but no luck. Let me know what the next steps will be.

The next step is to upload your raw file and the .on1 sidecar file to a sharing site such as DropBox then posting the download link to it here.

Rick, I think Brian was just suggesting that you make the file available here for us to take a look at.
Have you posted about this before in the group? I don't know the history. I would be interested to know if you can export a new unedited photo without it being black. If so, at what stage does it stop working. Are you exporting from Browse or Edit? Are there Layers? Layer masks? Any other details?

Rick, you'll need to give public access to the ON1 Support folder. I don't have permissions to see its contents.

According to Dropbox, there is no public access anymore. I shared the file with support@on1help.zendesk.com. Let me know if there is another email address I should use.

Rick S - the problem does him to occur when I use masks in Effects and Local. I just tried a new approach, I duplicated the edited picture and then saved it. So far this technique seems to work. I hope Brian can see what the problem is without adding this step.

Hi Rick, I just downloaded your files and I'll take a look at them now.

Rick W, what export settings are you using? Can you post a screenshot of them?

My first test of the Mt Rainer falls shot exported just fine. It was a straight export with all options turned off.

Are using a MAC or Windows operating system. I use Windows and from the picture above it looks like you have an Apple computer. One way to get around the problem is duplicating the edited picture so it doesn't have the masks. I have been able to export a JPEG using this method.

Yes, I am on a Mac. Can you give me a screen shot of your export settings please? I'd like to try it again with the same settings you have. I suspect it has more to do with settings than the OS being used.

I'm still not having any problems using your settings. Maybe Rick S can give it a try on his Windows system so we can see if the OS has anything to do with it.
Was this edited in a previous version? There could be a problem with the .on1 file.
The only other suggestion I have is to let support take a look at it.

If you want me to try it, then we have to start over with transferring files! I would recommend for now and for the future to use WeTransfer. It's easy to use. Just drag your files to it, select upload and copy the resulting link. Post the link here.
Has anyone suggested going to Browse for the Export yet?

Yes, and it still can't export the picture other than in black. I can send you the files that I sent Rick using WeTransfer but I need an email address

I think one of my problems was that I was saving as ProRGB instead of SRGB. Now I'm not getting any black pictures when I export. I'm still having problems when I use Layers or Masks and trying to save these pictures.

The link should be posted here. Maybe you meant Brian.
