Looking for advice to upgrade to PR 2020

This is my present situation:

I am using PR 2019.6, I have 11 folders cataloged (about 4000 images). I am planning to upgrade to PR2020 when it i officially release. The advice I am looking is: Should I un-cataloged all the folders in PR2019 before upgrading to PR2020? or should I leave them cataloged.

  I would leave them cataloged. Otherwise, if you decide you want to catalog them in 2020 the catalogs will have to be rebuilt from scratch with all the time and system overhead that requires.

  All my images are catalogued, so I should install 2020 alongside 2019.2 so that 2020 recognises the catalogue, and then uninstall 2019?

  I would install 2020 alongside 2019 but do not delete 2019 until you have tested 2020 and know that you are happy with it.
