Keeping brush active as we change Effect or Adjustment (ON1 2020)

Something I find annoying in my workflow: 

I brush some mask in an adjustment (or effect) on a zoomed in picture. Then I go to another adjustment which is already there to work on it.
(Very common situation if you copy-paste settings from an image to another: adjustments and effects are present and masks are to refine).

As I do so, the brush is change into the hand tool. I have the reflex to continue brushing so I clic, and this unwanted hand acts like a de-zoom. I have to zoom again in the desired area and get my brush again...
