I'm running a 3.2GHZ Xeon with 16GB RAM and a 2TB SSHD. On Lightroom and Photoshop, there's rarely a pause, but PhotoRAW is a dog. I'm constantly waiting as I switch between photos as it saves settings, use "AI" features, and especially when it closes down. The program will close after 30+ seconds and the "close down" warning has stayed up as long as 5 minutes.
I've gone through the troubleshooting, updated video drivers, and reloaded the latest version of PhotoRAW. It all made no difference - PhotoRAW is intolerably slow and a resource hog as well.
I switched to PhotoRAW for the fantastic features, but it does me no good if it takes 2-3x longer to get the work done! My time is more valuable than that and I can always bite the bullet and rent Lightroom and Photoshop.
I'm out of ideas for fixes and would appreciate ideas.
