How to "Unapply" a preset?
I like to try out several presets, but there are times I will then decide to not use any of the presets. How do I "unapply" the currently set preset from my picture? Undo just returns me to the previous preset and so on. I often do not want to click on "reset all settings" because I may already have applied some basic develop settings that I don't want to use. Going into the "history" panel might be a way, but I'm wondering if there is something as simple as "unapply" present preset.
Thanks for any help and my apologies if this question has already been asked; I couldn't find it in my multi-searches.

If you've experimented with different presets before deciding to not use any you can get rid of them by using Undo back through the various attempts or use the History pane and clicking the entry just before you applied the first preset. Or, you can open the Effects pane and delete whatever was applied by the last preset you chose.

Possibly make a version prior to experimenting with different presets - apply the presets to the version

Another option is if you don't like the first preset you've chosen, Undo it before applying the next. This has the added advantage of keeping the Undo stack smaller reducing the memory footprint of that editing session.
