Dark Frame Subtraction
This was discussed in a prior post but they did not come to a conclusion, I have two images and would like to subtract one from the other, as in literal image arithmetic. This has utility when an image contains some background component (like an offset or an average background noise level) that you would like to subtract. Is there any way to do this?

If the photos are the same I would try to import one into the edit you are working on, and try different blend modes.

Maybe this thread will help. There is a newer updated thread, if I can find it, I'll post it.

Rick, there is something weird about the link you posted. I am logged into FB, buy when I click the URL, it wants me to log in as if I not logged in already. I am sure you are posting a safe link, but I am not going to enter my login information again to a link that does to start with FB. Can you see if you can post the URL a different way?
Thanks,
Kevin

Strange, I've tried it a couple of times and it works for me. How about this one...

Yes to both Rick and David. That preview FB link works just fine and takes me to the lookaside URL without asking to login.
Thanks!
