No, you're not doing anything wrong, that's how ON1 works. You can enter the GPS coordinates for one image, select the rest and Sync just the GPS coords to add it to the rest.

Sweet! That will work for me. Thanks for the rapid reply.

I just attempted this GPS cords sync. However, I only see two Sync buttons: the ON1 Sync along the  top row of the Browse module (It is not the one), and a Sync button on the lower right panel near the Reset button. But, it is grayed out.

So please: where is this Sync button located which does this ? Should I be in the Develop module?

I mis-remembered how I had done this in the past, sorry. You can paste the coordinates in multiple images at once.

Select all the images having the same location. You'll notice that one of the images has a brighter outline than all the rest. That image is "super-selected". Go to the Map view and set the GPS coords and it will be applied to only the super-selected image. Copy the coords from the GPS field in the EXIF Metadata field then Command/Control-click on the super-selected image to deselect it. Now you can paste the coords into the GPS field. Press the Tab key after pasting so the program knows you're done editing of the GPS field and it will be applied to all the selected images at the same time.

Thanks again for your persistence in teaching this old dog a trick or two. Will try that method later today.

I am on a PC (Windows 10). Do you have ay idea what the equivalent keys are to the Mac’s “Command/Control”?

Macs use Command, Windows uses Control

My Bad! I thought the instruction was to hold Command/Control at the same time. Whew!

I understand this is an older thread, but it may show up in a search so...

First, in PR2021 it does not seem possible to make a selection without one image being super-selected.  The suggestion above will not work.

Second, the (2021) program seems to behave in the "expected way" now - adding coordinates to the metadata field of all selected images.  With one important thing to note.  Gridview acts different than filmstrip view.  Here is the response from the support people:

If you are in filmstrip view, only the super selected file will have changed applied to it.
If you want to update a group of photos with GPS coordinates you'll want to do this in Browse Gridview.
You'll get a dialogue prompt asking if you want to apply to all images.

The bottom line is that it works as expected (at least, the way I expect it) in gridview but not in filmstrip view.

    Henry
