Just a thought: are you printing from Edit or Browse?

    Thanks Lieven...

I getting some help from Whitney at ON1 and she suggested the same as I had been printing from edit...did work! Looks like it's on the printer side. I'll try Epson Support but don't expect then level of help I'm getting from the ON1 community.

James, I had the same problem when printing with PrinTao 8 on Epson 9900. The problem is that PrinTao 8 doesn't like layered images and On1 seems to leave Tiff images not flattened.I contacted On1 about this but they didn't seem to understand what I was saying, but if you export an image as tiff then open in photoshop you will see it is not flattened but is still "layered" and you need to choose: image - flatten image then save. (hope this makes sense). My solution was to export image then open in Photoshop (cc or Elements) and flatten the image then send to PrinTao 8 from photoshop or save to a folder and open in PrinTao.

    Hope this helps

Thanks...that's pretty much were I ended up as a work-around. On1 support said to print from Browse rather than Edit mode...BUT that didn't work either! Without flattening the Tif in PS I get image #1 printed from ON1 and #2 printed from PrinTao. There still working on it but I think they may end up deciding it's a printer issue. But I don't think so as their print mod is new! I'll post the 'results' later.I sure have burned thru a lot of ink and paper.

James, with regards to your printing problems, did you ever get a fix for the weird lines at the end of the print? I am having the same problem trying to print 12x16 inch and longer on my Canon Pixma Pro 10S and it is driving me insane!! They print fine from Photoshop but on1 always has this weird final bit.

Please let me know if you have any answers.

    Cheers,

    Wayne

    Hi Wayne...

I never found a reason/solution using ON1 Print module. Finally gave up and used Ps to print. (or Printao). I 'think' the problem might be in the resizing relative to the original image size...so I'm waiting for ON1's new Resize AI and will throw more paper at it again. It is ??? why this happens and that. no one seems able to help. I'll let you know what I find out...if anything!

PS...also might be ON1 issues printing 'odd' sizes...I was trying 17x22 and you 12x16??

Thanks James, this problem only occurs for me printing 16inch and longer. small sizes even on large paper work fine. I tend to print 12x18 and 12x26 inch images but now cannot do so from PhotoRaw. Like you I print this size from Photoshop with no problems. Have emailed On1 but they seem to want to push the problem on to the printer driver or the Mac OS rather than admit they have a problem. Pity as its would be good to print direct from PhotoRaw.It used to work but I suspect a bug has crept in in an update so maybe it will work again after the Resize Ai is added.

Thanks again for the help. Will let you know if I ever find a fix.

    Cheers, Wayne
