Installing PR2018 on same computer as PR2019?

I bought the 2019 preview when I think 2018 was still available, so I believe I have a license for both.  I would like to run both (not simultaneously) on my machine with their caches and other support files installed in different places (one on an external drive, the main one on local SSD).  Is this possible?  Are there issues with preference files buried in OSX, or do they happily coexist?

I want to comparison play around with these apps, for fun a bit.

 

Failing that, will On1 10 and PR 2019 coexist?

  Photo 10, Photo Raw 2018 and Photo Raw 2019 should all co-exist with each other (no guarantees). You would probably be the first to try it though. Keep in mind that photos edited in a newer version are not backwards compatible with older versions.

  I reinstalled Photo 10 last year myself just to see how things have changed and now that I'm used to Photo Raw I got really frustrated with Photo 10. Needless to say, it got removed again pretty quickly.

  I have Photo 10 and Photo Raw 2018, 2019 and 2020 all installed.  I don't know whether they should co-exist but they seem to do so quite happily
