ON1 2020 Grid Overlay
I am wanting to create collages of various print sizes, however I cannot find a overlay grid option in ON1 2020. This of course would remove the “eyeball method” and make it more precise and timely. Am I missing something in On 1? suggestions are most welcome, as I do not want to jump between programs.

Sorry, you're not missing anything. There is a request to add a ruler in future version, but that's all.
If you have an image of a grid, you can add it as a layer.

One solution is to use the 3rd party program like PhiMatrix. It places a highly customizable transparent overlay on the screen for you to have whatever kind of layout guide you'd like.

Thank you both, I will try each suggestion.

How can On1 have left out something as basic as a grid overlay? I print my work on canvas and do my own stretching. I've discovered that putting a 10 pixel white or black dot in the corners where the canvas will be cut is a huge time saver... but I can't put the dots on the image without a grid!

I can't say why On1 doesn't have a grid, but you should be able to add your own and make it work.
You could add a grid as a transparent layer, but that will create a new onphoto file each time you do it.
Instead, you could import one as either a frame or texture depending on whether you want it to resize or not.
If you need help with that, let us know.
